Tarja, which one is the oldest memory you have from your childhood?
My father was builiding our new house and I was playing in the sand with my big brother. I was three years old.

Which was the worst job you ever had?
When I was 18 I worked as a waitress on a ship in Finland. The rest of the employers were men and they weren't nice to me.

Which one would be your work, if you wouldn't be a musician?
Probably an actress

When have you decided to become a singer?
I was singinging since I was a child and I took piano lessons when I was 6. At that time I was also singing in a choir. It was obvious that I was interested in music, so my parents saw my talent and wanted me to continue singing.

Did you ever think to give music up and to find a norml job?
Never! I think that I have some luck.

Which one was the worst experience you had?
My ex-boyfriend wasn't carefull enough and he couldn't understand my musical career.

Which one was the best?
When I got married!

Name one idol und explain why is this person so important for you
I never had any idol. I didn't have any in the last years with Nightwish, and it's hard to pick one classical singer.

Last album which you bought?
I bought many operas by Puccini, Bellini, Mozart and Wagner.

Favourite album ever?
There are many. Two of them are EYE IN THE SKY by Alan Parson and STABAT MATER by Pergolesi.

Favourite food?
Salmon with lemon juice and brew potatoes.

Last time when you got drunk?
I never drink so much, I always stop when I feel the alcohol in my head. Some days earlier I bought some drinks with my best friend from a bar, but I wasn't drunk

When have you danced last time and on which song?
That was so long ago, that I almost can't remember. I danced with Marcelo on Madona's "Frozen", three months ago, in Helsinki.

Last book which you read?
"The Partner" by John Grisham.

Last time when you wanted something and didn't get it?
Yesterday I wanted some sweets, but I'm not allowed to eat them. I hate that!

Did you ever want to kill somebody?
When I was in school I had some colleges who always made me mad. Deep inside my heart I wanted to kill them all.

Did you ever think about suicide?
No. There are not only happy days in life, but everybody should respect his/her life. I try to find something nice, every day.

When and where did you have sex for the first time?
I really don't think I should answer this...

And last time?
Exactly some minutes before.. Haha. Hello? What kind of question is that?

Worst nightmare?
I was playing and singing in a movie. Everybody hated me and I couldn't even sing at some time. My voicesimply disappeared!

Which one was the most awkward moment in your life?
And I should tell you this? No way!

Your last vacation?
in january 2004 in Thailand.

Somebody gives you 100 Euro. What would you buy?
I would first think, what I would need, Probably some shoes. I have only some duzines.

Who do you wish to sit at the edge of your bed?
I am probably the most boring woman on earth; my husband. He is the best.

Your biggest wish?
To sing untill I get 60 or even older. I always wished a happy life as a singer.

Your most valueable own?
I have two houses; in Finland and Buenos Aires.

Which are the three culmination and low parts of your carrer?
culmination: the entrance examination for Sibelius Academy and Musicuniversity in Karlsruhe. Also it is fantastic to work with Nightwish
low parts: the time before Nightwish.I had to leave Finland for construction in Germany. I was forced to say "No" to every big chance I had, since I was really sick.

Wich songs do you wish that you would have written?
I don't write any songs, so that I can't say anything to this question..

How would change the world if you would have the chance?
I wouldn't change anything. Many bad things happen in trhis world, but this is our destiny - and many times we can turn things into worst while trying to change them
